(as a relative),

My husband presented at hairmyres a & e dept recently with what we suspected may be a stroke.. he is 35!

The staff were brilliant. He was taken straight through, the stroke nurse was there within minutes to assess him, the emergency medics and nurses were super, he had an immediate ct scan and a teleconference with the on call stroke consultant... clot busting drug administered within the hour where thankfully he showed signs of reversal.

The system worked like a dream and we are eternally grateful for the swift and thorough service we received resulting in a positive outcome.
