"Unhappy with Monklands Hospital cancellation procedure"

Monklands Hospital cancelled a long awaited orthopaedic appointment.

The consultant voiced his dismay with witness and patient present regards patients' appointments being rescheduled with delays of four or more months as they were returned to the end of the waiting list as opposed to rescheduling the waiting list/time table.

Consideration to the patient would have required clerical effort and I feel that this hospital does not apply consideration towards the patient when they cancel appointments.
