"excellent care at the diabetes clinic "

I have been using the diabetes clinic at Newcastle's General Hosptial for 7 years. Although I live in Northumberland my local GP referred me to the newcastle centre when I was diagnoised. The care and treatment I have recieved over the last 7 years is excellent. The staff, in particular the receptionists and diabetes nurses, are very friendly and helpful. On several occassions I have needed to reschedule appointments and the receptionists always manage to fit me in. The nurses are always able to answer my questions, provide me with necessary equipment and the nurse ring back service is a fast and effective way of speaking to a professional. The centre seems very well run and organised and I have never had to wait longer than expected. Thanks to all the staff at the centre.
