My G. P sent me by ambulance to Hairmyres hospital. The ambulance crew were very professional and they put me at ease. They delivered me to A&E safely. On arrival at A&E Nursing Staff looked after me with compassion, respect, dignity and their clinical skills were obviously of an extremely high standard. Medical staff were excellent also.
I was then admitted to Ward 3 for a very short spell late in the evening so staff were on night shift. There were 2 Staff nurses and 1 health care assistant. Again every exchange/interaction, clinical task/procedure were done with professionalism, compassion, respect and dignity. I believe one of the Staff nurses was very recently graduated and she was wonderful. The HCA was exceptional in her standard and quality of care. Very professional. Thank-you to everyone.
I am sorry I cannot remember their names.
"Exceptional person centred care from GP, paramedics, A&E and ward 3!"
