"Breast clinic"

I recently attended the breast clinic to have a breast lump checked.

I was delighted with the care I received.

I was seen at my appointment time with no waiting around.

Every member of staff introduced themselves with their name and explained what would be happening at every stage of my visit.

The radiographer who did my mammogram could sense how anxious I was and really put me at ease by showing me the machine first and explaining what would happen.

Every single member of the team was so reassuring and caring at every stage of my visit and were there with tissues when I got a bit tearful at times.

Thank you for making what was a very worrying time less traumatic for me.

Thankfully all turned out well and I won't need to return for a while!
