"Being sent out of the relatives room"

About: Leighton Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

I  had to rush my dad to crewe hospital and he was in a bad way and then  late in the night taken him up to ward 3. I went up with him and my mum. They said "we will just get him on a bed and we will come and get you".

They took us to the relative room. After about 40min a nurse came in and said "what are you doing in this room" we said "we are with someone that as just been sent up" and they said "I don't know, can you leave the room or the ward, I got a relative that is a emergency" The relative come in and side go on, go!"

Well I was in shock and in a mess, what the problem it so bad to go with that?I was not there having a good time myself.
