"Wonderful day care treatment at Leighton Hospital"

I went into Leighton Crew Hospital into the Gastroenterology Department. I was very nervous about the procedure, but, I need not have been. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so helpful. It was easy to park, the reception was easy to find. The waiting area was light, airy and was a relaxing place to be. There was also plenty of seating for patients as well as for friends and relatives who had brought them.

The nurses made me feel relaxed during me treatment and I just had my throat sprayed to make it less uncomfortable. It was all over very quickly and they were very professional.

After the procedure I was given something to eat and to drink to make sure that I could swallow alright and given a little time to relax and prepare for my journey home.

When the nurse spoke to me after my treatment, this took place in a private area and I feel that for patient confidentiality an area could be set aside to make this a little more private. I would like to thank all of the staff for wonderful treatment.
