"My thanks to you all for the care of my grandson"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as a relative),

I had to contact 999 as my grandson became seriously unwell. The ambulance service was fantastic, Kevin reassured him and provided me with support. On arrival at Wishaw General we were met by a staff team, who worked to stabilise him and could not have done anymore to make sure he received the highest standard of care, we then moved to ward 19 and onto ward 20 where he stayed for a period of 3 days and a further period of 2 days, each time he was allocated a named nurse and every member of nursing staff treated us with respect, even when the ward was extremely busy, my thanks to you all for the care of my grandson

Dear A grans story

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care and treatment your grandson received whilst having to attend the Emergency Department here at Wishaw General Hospital. I indeed hope that he is recovering well and his health continues to improve.

It is always nice to get positive feedback and I will ensure this will be shared across the Emergency team here at Wishaw General Hospital. I have no doubt they will be delighted for your feedback.

Thank you once again and Best Wishes

Faith
