(as a parent/guardian),

I attend audiology with my daughter. Since her first appointment the care we have received has been brilliant.

Rhiannon the audiologist always takes an interest in my daughter and what else is going on in her life rather than just focussing on her hearing issues. Any changes are always discussed with me and my child to ensure we fully understand the options available and feel involved in any decisions.

Excellent example of family centred care.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback on the service that both you and your daughter have experienced from the staff in the Audiology service. I am sorry to hear that your daughter is experiencing difficulties that require her to attend the Audiology Department but delighted to hear that it is such a positive and valuable experience for you both.

As you highlight, it is so important to ensure that patients and their families are fully engaged in their care and treatment and your feedback demonstrates that our Audiology team work hard to ensure this is the case. Children and their families are the main focus of all that our teams strive to do. Your kind words have been fed back to Rhiannon and the Audiology team with additional praise from the General Manager and they are delighted to hear this.
