"Confusing A&E admission"

About: Isle of Wight Ambulance Service

(as the patient),

Ambulance crew were kind and patient. I was semi-concious and A&E staff did not contact next of kin. I was discharged without any information on my condition or after care advice.

First of all thank you for posting your feedback, and the positive comments about the ambulance crew; this has been shared with the Lead Clinical Support Officer, and the Trust is really pleased to read the crew were kind and treated you with respect.

With regard to your Emergency Department attendance, your comments were shared with the matron and she was very disappointed to read the concerns you have raised, and should you wish to discuss this in person she would be happy to speak to you directly.

If you wish to do so, please contact the Trust via the PALS service on 01983 534850, and they will put you in contact with Matron.

Once again thank you for taking time to post this valuable feedback, as it helps us to learn and improve our services.

I do hope that you have continued to recover well following your admission to the ED.
