"Superb end of life care"

About: Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

My mother was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died a week later, in Ward 8. The hospital staff were superb in contacting us (we lived 4-5 hours away). I am immensely grateful for the palliative care you gave her. At no time was she ever in pain, she was treated with full dignity and the staff showed huge compassion to the family. My heartfelt thanks that you made what was a traumatic time for the family a little bit easier.

Thank you.

We're very sorry to hear of your loss. Thank you very much for taking the time to tell us how staff helped care for your mother while she was at Aintree. We'll pass your comments on to the ward team.
