"Helped by CITT, South Lanarkshire"

(as the patient),

I was in the adolescent inpatient unit for 6 months and upon discharge I was referred to the CAMHS intensive treatment team (CITT).

They definitely aided in my recover particularly Chris, James and Jacqui who took me out into social situations to help my integration back into the community. They were always there when I needed to call for support which wasn't much but they definitely gave me a sense of security as I always knew I had the support. Would 100% advise them.

Hi Nath8n,

I am heartened to hear that support from the CITT team assisted you in your recovery. The team have the flexibility to go beyond the boundaries of the clinical setting, to support young people but as you say, it is the efforts of the staff members involved which makes the real difference in how the person involved feels and responds.

I wish you well in the future and I will pass on your thoughts to the team.

Take care

Jim
