"Fantastic care in gynaecology/Stour Ward"

About: Ipswich Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I had surgery 2 weeks ago and and stayed on Stour ward for 2 days.

I received the utmost care and was treated with respect and kindness from the moment I arrived. The medical team that took care of me during surgery were fantastic, I had a spinal tap and sedation so felt very relaxed and was able to chat to the anaesthetists throughout the whole procedure.

The nursing staff on the ward maintained my dignity which is a great tribute to them particularly after I'd had gynaecological surgery.
