What I liked
I would like to say how grateful I am to Darent Valley Hospital for the excellent care I was given when I became ill while staying with my partner’s parents in Hartley. I am at present being treated by a Birmingham hospital for Cancer the staff there are very nice but the hospital is old and the facilities are not very good. Darent Valley is exceptionally clean and the facilities are something I feel every hospital should aspire to.
The staff were fantastic - from the A&E department to the Pine Therapy Unit and then the ward - within a day they had managed to contact my consultant to find out about the present treatment I was receiving for the very rare form of cancer I have. If I had a million pounds, I really could not have bought better care and attention over the three weeks I was there. So a big thank you to all the staff from my partner and myself and also our 16 month old little girl. What a fantastic hospital!
What could be improved
Nothing
