About: Bromley Healthcare / Leg Ulcer Assessment and Management Service

(as the patient),

I had problems with leg ulcers in March this year. I visited my GP, and felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere in terms of healing and care.

Eventually I saw a senior nurse, who recommended me to the Leg clinic. She said that I would be sorted in five weeks, and I have now been discharged. I felt like I had an excellent level of care at the leg clinic, the service was great and it was easy to make appointments. It felt like everything went well.

I want to thank Nurse Vicky for all her support and care.

Thank you for your posting about your experiences!

I will ensure that Vicky sees this posting and I am sure that she will be thrilled.

The presence of leg ulcers can be really debilitating and cost the NHS a significant amount of money. Your posting proves that some leg ulcers can be rapidly treated and healed benefitting both the patient and also the NHS!
