About: West London NHS Trust / Gender Identity Clinic

(as the patient),

I had an appointment booked with the Endocrinology Clinician at the Gender Identity Clinic

Cancelled by telephone as answerphone message but this message was not acted upon and I received a letter stating that I had missed the appointment without cancelling it. I was in Europe when I cancelled it and could not guarantee a letter would reach the clinic in time.

Please accept our apologies for not acting upon your request to cancel your appointment with our Endocrinologist. We would be grateful if you could advise us as to when your called in to the service so that we may check our records accordingly and take the necessary actions internally to address our error.
