Referred in early July.....tests show I have a polyp to be removed and then wanting a coil fitted. The main dissatisfaction is with the lack of coordination...was told that scan may be after my second consultant appointment (when we would need the scan information of course.....had to fight to get one beforehand)...next appointment was waste of time and money as I did not learn anything new and did not get the procedure done as expected that day in September. Still waiting (and wondering if polyp grown ? Benign or not ?? ,as well as still suffering heavy menstruation. Two further appointments cancelled by the hospital at short notice (understand staff illness but I am ill too) and no further appointment date in sight. Well over the 18 week treatment period. Further requests for information or reassurance re medical aspects have been ignored....no one has called back wrt symptoms and relative risks of such a long wait. PALS also not able to help.frustrated, cross and worried in equal measure!!!
