"Genuine professional staff"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Accident & Emergency Crosshouse Hospital / Physiotherapy (A&E)

(as the patient),

I showed up in A&E in agony. I was quickly seen by triage, then by a nurse who assessed I should be seen instead by a doctor- A. Stevenson. He listened to my full story, did some tests on my shoulder, neck and arm and grabbed the physio who also happened to be in the department- G. Taylor. I received great care from both these people.

They were genuine, respectful, professionals. I was taped-up and given drugs and exercises, and a follow up appointment made with Gemma. I felt listened to, and cared for, and a week later feel much better. I can’t speak highly enough about these 2 professionals.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Moon954,

Thank you so much for letting us know how well your visit went to A&E. I will be very pleased to forward this to the team particularly your named professionals. it will make their day I am sure.

I am sorry you were in agony, but hopefully it was short-lived and hopefully you will recover and heal quickly.

Best wishes,

Eunice
