"So, in the meantime I have to just struggle on"

Woke up one Wednesday morning about 9 weeks ago not feeling right went to my doctors who said she was suspecting a stroke as I was showing the signs mouth drooped, numb all down my right side she phoned raigmore and was told to put me to the unit beside a&e I was seen by a nurse who then took all my initial checks then was told by a doctor I would be going for a ct scan which I did then to be told to go and sit back down and I would be going for an MRI scan sat till later that day when a doctor came to me and said sorry can't do your MRI today we will get you in tomorrow for it we will phone you to come up thurs all day waiting for phonecall to be called from staff who had been asked to phone me to tell me they had forgotten to phone me and could I come in on the Friday morning for my MRI to which I did and got my scan and then told to sit in the waiting room by a&e for my results only then to be told there was no one to look at my results at that precise time to go home and someone would phone me to come back up 6pm.

I finally get a phonecall from someone to tell me that my results hadn't been reported and wouldn't likely to be until the Monday morning so fobbed off yet again. Finally wed I get my results to which my scans came back clear and a doc said it was hemiplegic migraines and I will be better within few days ... I am still like this 9-10 weeks later.

I have been referred to physio which I have finally got my appointment tomorrow and I also have been referred to see a neurologist which I phoned up to be told it is a ten month waiting list, so in the meantime I have to just struggle on and not know for definite if it was a stroke or a hemiplegic migraine.

Raigmore, I have no faith left in you anymore, the way I have been treated was disgraceful and if I could go to a different hospital I would to get treated and not just to be left to get on with it.
