"I left with a smile"

This morning I went for colonoscopy at the Vic, Kirkcaldy performed by Dr. Sengupta ably assisted by S/N Craig and S/N Julie. I was admitted by a very charming nurse who went through all my pre-test admin very efficiently and effectively. Blood pressure, heart rate and cannula insertion done well.

I was then taken through to the colonoscopy suite and introduced to the three occupants and was settled on the bench. The procedure was performed painlessly and viewed together with every step and scene explained. The recovery nursed de-briefed me, gave me a cup of coffee, some toast and sent me on my way with a smile.
