"Poor Treatment"

I had an appointment today for my oncology review. They said that my heart scan and blood test results were okay. I had a heart scan yesterday but I have not had a blood test for over 6 months. I was then told to continue having Mammograms and I said, how. I don't have any breasts. They asked if I had had 2 full mastectomies and I said yes. I was then asked if I had started hormone treatment, I hadn't. I was then told that my Gp will give me a prescription for the tablets to take for 5 years. Then I have to make an appointment for 3 months time. I was told that I need to have a blood test and gave me a blood form. I was not told when I have to have the blood test.

I think it is absolutely disgusting the treatment that I have received today. I was made to feel as if I was a nuisance and had not got time for me just getting it over with as quickly as possible. I left the room upset and shocked at the lack of knowledge that the staff member showed of myself. It certainly does not give me any reassurance that I am in capable hands. I really do not want to see them again.
