A little confusion on the day about whether I would be admitted as they were full but I got there eventually. My second time on Murray Falconer for Ivig for 5 days. Once again ward was very clean, bright and I started off in a 4 bed bay that was roomy and comfortable. What impressed me again is the kindness, efficiency and friendliness of all staff without exception, from consultants (who spent considerable time explaining treatment and getting my views) to nurses who are run off their feet in this busy hospital but stay cheerful and caring) to kind nursing assistants and the lovely staff member who brings food and tea, hot drinks and snacks. My treatment didn't go as planned through no fault of staff- I had a bad reaction to the drugs and they moved me swiftly to a side room and one nurse offered to sit and talk as I was distressed. They kept checking on me and even googled info for me to reassure me on their phone. Finally, food was exceptional- 4 page menu including Thai red chicken curry! Lots of fresh veg and variety. I can't thank them enough
"Excellent care again in Murray Falconer"
