About: St Mary's Hospital / Medical oncology

(as the patient),

I had to travel for 15 consecutive working days from the Isle of Wight to receive radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer between September to October. I cannot praise highly enough the kindness and professionalism of everybody in the centre. People were cheerful, efficient and very friendly and I include everyone from the consultant to the lovely ladies in the the League of Friends cafe. I had hardly any delay in treatment which was import as I was catching the daisy bus back to the port.

Thank you. I received my treatment at Southampton General radiotherapy centre
