"Blood Test"

I had a consultant appointment and was sent for blood tests. This was mid afternoon so I thought I would have a long wait. As soon as I had taken my numbered ticket I was called in. The request for bloods had been sent electronically by the consultant and only took a couple of minutes for the phlebotomist to access. Very impressive. At my local hospital the average wait for blood tests is one and a half hours!
