"They genuinely treated me as an individual"

About: Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

Very happy how I was treated and supported by Craig, Amanda and Dr Vaidya.

What was an unpleasant procedure was very much helped by the caring voice of Craig. He talked me through the whole procedure making me feel at ease. He had a soothing and caring voice along with a dose of humour. I didn't feel any pressure to rush and they genuinely treated me as an individual and not a body on a conveyor belt.

Dear Patient 81

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience of endoscopy.

Endoscopy procedures are not pleasant and it was lovely to read that the care and support you had from the team made the process a bit easier for you.

Craig has just read your post and his words were "That has made my day!"

I will be sure to share your post with Dr Vaidya, Amanda and the rest of the team too, who I'm sure will be just as grateful for your kind words.

I hope that you have recovered well from your procedure and thanks again.

Kind regards

Gill Ogden
