My dad spent 6 weeks at Coalville recovering from a stroke. He was left to sit in mess (C Diff) for hours, as staff said they were too busy (while dancing and chatting). He was showered just once in 6 weeks and his blood was taken without his skin being wiped. He also had sepsis. On his last night he screamed out in pain, he was given 2 paracetamol by the ward manager. He came home the next day for 7hrs before being rushed to the LRI with pnuemonia, pulmonary edema and heart failure. Our family are extremely disappointed and upset in the care he received.
