"Rebooking an outpatient appointment"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

(as the patient),

I'm currently attempting to rebook an outpatients appointment with Eastbourne District General Hospital, but apparently the "appointments" line don't like picking up the phone...

The appointments line just rings and rings for 5 minutes, until someone either picks up the phone and immediately hangs up, or the call just gets disconnected.

This isn't the first time I've had this problem with EDGH... I had the same thing happen last time I tried to rebook.

Doing my "good citizen" thing by calling up nice and early to reschedule an appointment so they can use the slot for someone else, clearly isn't worth the effort for them, so why should I bother?
