Got in on a cancellation so really prompt day surgery. Had 4 injections in foot under local anaesthetic for arthritis in the orthopaedic unit. It was still very painful despite the anaesthetic. All staff treated me very well.
I was the first one in, and on time. The doctor came and explained what was going to happen then I went to theatre. Had x-rays there & explained again. Came back and got tea and toast straight away. I was out for 10. 30.
Made a difference – can walk now. Got appointment through the post for November.
Couldn’t have faulted treatment – 3 hours in and out.
"Happy with arthritis treatment"
