"Concern over Waiting Time at the Rotherham General Hospital"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

My treatment took place in the Sitwell ward, (urology), of the Rotherham General Hospital.

The waiting time could have been shorter. When I arrived at 7.30am I expected to be sent to the operating theatre before 12.45. I has expected to be informed of the time that I was going to theatre.

I would like to thank all of the staff and the after care that I received was very good.

Thank you for posting your comments. We ask patients to arrive for 730am in order to ensure that if any last minute changes are made to the theatre list, that the theatre is not left unused. We apologise that the staff did not keep you better informed and will ensure that we act upon your concerns.
