"What a disgrace"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Gynaecology

Six weeks and one day ago I went to Gloucester Hope House due to pain upon examination a Polyps on my Cervix was found the doctor who had done the examination wanted me to go for further examination and tests to see if the polyps was Benign or Cancerous. On Thursday 13th October 2016 I finally received my letter saying I could book my appointment (which I may add took 6 weeks to arrive, even though it was referred as urgent) when I phoned the booking office for the gynecology clinic I was told I couldn't be seen until march as it was not important even though the polyps is at risk of being Cancerous due to Cancer running in my family. I am 27 years old with a 20 month old son, and the only surviving parent. I think this is extremely poor service and severe neglect of patients well-being.
