"Hip replacement surgery"

I recently had my hip replaced at Sunderland Royal Hospital. The service I received, right from the initial GP referral through to the care received whilst at home, was excellent. The pre-op assessment procedure was comprehensive and efficient. The care I received on ward D48 was second to none, with attentive service from the medical & nursing staff, physiotherapists, Occupational Therapy staff and domestic staff. Even the food was good! When I arrived home, all the additional equipment I needed was there waiting for me. Leading up to the surgery I was a little apprehensive, but the whole experience was overwhelmingly positive. Thank you to all the staff involved. Based on my experience, I would thoroughly recommend Sunderland Royal Hospital
