"dissapointing follow up treatment"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Urology

Having spent four days in Burstead Ward(all staff excellent) with a kidney stone,i was given a stent and sent home"won't be long before you come back in" that was eight weeks ago still waiting for my operation without a clue as to when it is..this is what lets Basildon Hospital down..

We are pleased that your experience on the ward was a positive one.

However, we are sorry for the delay of your operation.

Due to capacity issues and the number of emergency patients being admitted to the hospital wards, this has resulted in some elective surgery being delayed.
