"Loss of medical notes at Ashford"

I have a two serious conditions and see a consultant every 12 months.

I went to my local hospital on Friday last week for my yearly meeting and was looking forward to seeing the results of my tests, to be told that my medical documents are missing and possibly lost.

Well, as you can imagine I was angry and upset and when I asked what could be done about it the simple answer was "come back and see me in 12 months" (if I am alive).

I had to wait a further 5 months on top of the 12 months for this appointment as it kept getting cancelled.

I have always supported the NHS and still do but to lose your documents is a crime and I have complained.
