"She went out of her way to ensure that he was seen"

My father is very poorly and required a CT scan. With considerable effort he arrived for his evening appointment with my mother only to be told he was a week early. They were both distressed the had got it wrong but the lady who received them was exceptionally kind and went out of her way to ensure that he was seen and scanned - even though this would have taken her a considerable time. Kindness and going 'the extra mile, like this is so much appreciated - thank you
