"Terrible "Hospital""

About: Skegness Hospital

Partners leg went numb while working and he was told by his manager to visit the hospital after an hour of it being numb. We arrived at the hospital at 11:30, and he stood in front of the receptionist for around 10 minutes before they decided to acknowledge him. He was moved from the waiting room around an hour later into a cubicle where a nurse asked questions and said the doctor would see him soon. We were left in the cubicle for another hour before being moved into a different one so another person with an injured knee could use it instead. We asked a nurse if they knew how long it would be until the doctor would see him, and received a very rude and abrupt reply that they were short staffed and only have the one doctor so 'that why it's taking a little longer'. It has since been 3 hours since we arrived. I am aware of the 4 hour national maximum waiting time but for other patients, such as the lady with an injured knee to be brought in and then taken for treatment while we are still sat with no attention is disgusting. This "hospital" really needs to be completely restaffed with competent workers to be run efficiently.
