"Child broken collar bone"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

My son fell playing in the garden with a friend, and after much pondering about whether his back did really look odd, or was he just making a fuss, we remembered that someone had told us how good the unit at Otley was. Anyway, within 30 minutes of our arrival into a fairly busy waiting room, we were processed, seen and x-rayed. Needless to say his collar bone was very broken! The staff were super efficient and reassuring, and after quite a lot of different hospital experiences in the past, it was a pleasure to find that we have such a superb facility close by. I would not hesitate to recommend it, and it is such a shame that the pressures of the NHS prohibit these facilities elsewhere.

Good Anonymous,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

It was very uplifting reading your words of support and gratitude.

I am extremely pleased that you and your son had such a positive experience whilst in our care.

I have passed your kind words to the Matron for Wharfedale General Hospital who will be delighted to know that they are delivering a level of care that met your needs and fulfilled your expectations.

With kind regards
