I was re-admitted to Ward 26 on 1 August 2016 with post-operative complications.
From the minute I was admitted to the day I was discharged, some 6 weeks later, there was not a single moment where I felt un-supported or un-cared for. From the Surgeon to the domestic staff and all in-between I can only praise each and every one of the team.
The nursing care was second to none, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile and with total professionalism.
The staff all work long, hard hours and I often noticed that some were still on duty way past the time that they should have gone home.
I cannot thank all of the staff enough for everything they have done for me, be it making my bed or fixing my heart, I am truly grateful to them for their dedication and care.
A big Thank you goes out to everyone.
