About: The Royal London Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was admitted to the A & E/trauma department by ambulance 2 weeks ago on a Friday night following a nasty fall with severe facial injuries.

The service and care that I received was incredible.

I had to have facial surgery the following day following scans and assessment as I was a difficult airways case when it came to being put under general anaesthetic.

Everybody without fail who I had dealings with was amazing. Whoever said that doctors and surgeons do not work at the weekend is just wrong.

What the staff undertake in a days work is just mid blowing and humbling and I cannot express my thanks enough.

Our NHS must be protected at all costs because when the chips are down they deliver!
