About: Eastbourne District General Hospital / Out of hours service

(as the patient),

Having only just moved house I had not yet registered with a local GP. Developing a rash on the side of my face following a headache I suspected shingles and knew it best to seek immediate medical advice I rang 111 and was put in touch with the IC 24 out of hours service at Eastbourne Hospital. What an excellent service. I was seen immediately shingles was confirmed the right medication precribed. A wonderful service.
