"Can someone please give me a diagnosis and stop this pain?"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

(as the patient),

Its the end of April and I have been in pain since Dec 09, I don't want to have to rely on pain killers i would like to get back to my active life. At the moment I'm on hold as the slow cogs of Royal Oldham take their time. My symptoms maybe insignificant in the scheme of things. But I'm close to despair. All I want is a diagnosis and treatment, is that too much to ask?

I've gone through Urology - clean bill of health, Gynae - managed to get a post op in infection from an investigative procedure to add to my existing pain and scare me half to death by not letting me know my biopsy results untill 6 weeks later. Have started treatment but we have to wait to see if it works. That will be nearlly 6 months since my referral to them. Now I'm being referred to the surgeons because they might be able to help, but then again they might not?

As a patient being told that "they" don't know what's wrong with me doesn't help me. How long do I have to keep going back and forth and on stronger and stronger pain relief till someone finally finds out what is wrong with me?
