"What is going on?"

About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Gynaecology

I was re admitted after surgery on my abdomen in severe pain, several urine samples were not tested by the nurse and left in the toilet and lost which delayed the treatment to a simple UTI, I was given tablets that clearly stated on my meds sheets that I am allergic to them. How does this mistake happen if nursing staff are administrating medication according to policy and training, thankfully I question what these tablets were before I took them, you really need to be aware of what's going on around you in order to keep yourself safe. There were other ladies on my ward that were also given wrong dosages of mess they normally take at home which put them in great danger. I managed to get hold of my drugs chart and found medication was marked as given when it had in fact not been given to me. On on a positive note the ward was kept fairly clean however the cleaner used the same cloth to wipe around everyone's beds, tables, chairs and TVs. I requested for only my floor to be cleaned and used a antibacterial wipe on my surroundings. I found the food was good and pleantly of it too.
