Having recently moved to Leicestershire from Surrey, I was apprehensive about the procedure.
I was picked up by patient transport, wheelchaired to Day Surgery and promptly booked in by Reception.
I can't fault the treatment I received.
The friendliness of everyone relaxed me and the Consultant took a genuine interest in my concerns and explained the procedure resulting in my not having an anaesthetic.
Transport was promptly arranged and I was wheelchaired out.
