About: Wansbeck Hospital / General surgery

I came into ward 15 for a short surgical procedure and I cannot thank you all enough. I was very anxious about everything but all staff were kind, compassionate and caring. I need to especially thank the anaesthetist who came to introduce them self to me and put me at ease through every step. The staff did everything... above and beyond to make my experience as calm and painless as possible. Thank you!

I do hope that you are recovering well from your procedure.

Thank you for your review, I was so glad to read about the care that you received whilst at Wansbeck General Hospital, and especially happy to know that the staff were able to make your experience as positive as it could be, at what must have been quite a scary time for you. We strive to treat all of our patients with kindness and compassion and it’s lovely to read that you received this level of care from all the staff you were treated by.

It is also great to know that our Anesthetist was able to put you at ease, even though you were feeling anxious, and I will ensure that your review is passed on to Ward 15 and the Anesthetic Team – I know that it will mean a lot to them.
