"Feel like I been brushed off"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital / Accident and emergency

I been sent to reading by walk in centre with suspection of apendicitus. They have called me fairly quick gave me a tube for urine sample took couple blood tests ( was pretty uncomfortable to walk trough reception and waiting room with my wee sample as toilets are located right by the front door. They call me back n gp I assumed just said I got uti n just stated that I'm not pregnant. They felt unfriendly and just gave me and uncomfortable feeling they didn't ask any further questions they kinda touched my belly trough my clothes but it was nothing like they examined me in walk in it kinda felt like they done it just so in case something happen's but I was wearing a coat n couple more layers they could not possibly feel anything. I do in fact feel pain when pressed on my right side I feel like there's something swollen there my muscles tense every time j press I can barely lift my right leg as it causes pain . I did not had a chance to tell them any of that they just gave me pills and turned towards desk to fill their paper work . Been 2 days already my pain is still there comes and goes gets worse in evening. Been reading a lot about possible stuff just the fact that one practice says one and another don't bother to check it just in case worries me. What if I actually got apendicitus .. could have at least done a scan. What if it's kidney stones. ( I'm basing that on the fact that had bladder infection 2 weeks ago there might of been some bacteria left that made test positive and they write me off just like that ) I guess it's what you get with free health care. I start to remember why my last visit to my gp was 4 years ago perhaps because no one really cares .. reception n Staff prob ably cares more how many people they take on rather then how many of them you actually try to treat. Dissapointed in doctor that I been to see hope in future NHS finds a way to motivate they employees to care about others.
