"First time mother"

About: Kettering General Hospital / Maternity

I was eight days after the due date baby wasn't moving a lot so i came for CTG to check it out and doctor decide to induct labour next day. midwifes on prenatal ward were welcome and helpful but midwife on labor ward was terrible  i  was treated without respect. I was in terrible pain I asked for an epidural I was given to small dose and the doctor did not believe that i feel everything .midwife was sitting on a chair in the corner . They didn't instruct me at all, baby's heart rate was falling further and midwife still sat on the chair just as I started to scream at them they moved. The midwife want out from the room and came back with few doctors.

It was too late for cc , baby couldn't breath cos it has twice twisted cord around neck. They had to use vacuum and forceps. After giving birth midwife gave me baby on the chest and went out from the room. They didn't came back at all. They went home cos their shift finished ( i thought they have to stay with me to the end) They didn't say a word , no congratulations nothing! I see their face in my nightmares.

I'm scared to get pregnant again.
