I am a 60 year old man who had never been in hospital and very apprehensive as to what to expect,
I must say the treatment I received was excellent and carried out in a most caring and respectful way,
The 2 nurses on assessment ward looked after me in a very friendly and polite manner as did the 2 doctors who explained what was being done and why.I was then transferred to chest pain unit for the next 4 days, again I would like to thank everyone involved in my care and treatment from the assistants who brought the food ( which was excellent) to the consultant . I was taken to theatre for angiogram and stents fitted and again everything was explained to me and I felt very calm and reassured with the way every thing was done I was then taken back to chest pain unit and allowed to go home next day. I really appreciate the care attention and attitude from the entire staff and would recommend Torbay hospital as a place to be cared for properly to anyone.
Thanks to everyone.
