"emergency visit with prostate hemorrhage"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital / Accident and emergency

I would like to express my appreciation of the treatment at the Cheltenham A&E hospital of a hemorrhage of my prostate - this followed a recent Turps operation .

I made a late evening call to your A&E with some trepidation and low expectations of a prolonged wait in dismal surroundings and dour reception staff , all based on previous visits to an A&E of a major hospital in your Trust

But I but was very pleasantly surprised by the bright and clean waiting room and the pleasant smiley reception ladies .

It didn't take long to see the triage doctor followed by nurse who did a blood sample , blood pressure and temperature checks , again the cheerfulness of the staff shone through This was then followed by specialist urology doctor who assured me all was OK with no infection and the hemorrhage was not unusual so return home but come back if the problem doesn't self So it was an excellent service and you have good reasons to be proud of your

staff as should the Cheltenham senior management team
