"Blood test"

i just want to say how good I thought Chase Farm was today. I had a blood test and I had never had one of these before that I can remember, and for some reason I had a mental block about it. However as soon as I arrived there was a nice person asking us if we needed directions and told us where to go for the blood test. The people on reception/check in were really friendly and polite and I was told to go straight to bay 2 wher I met a member of the phlebotomy team.

I want to emphasise that the phlebotomist was so lovely and friendly whilst being extremely professional and knowledgeable and really empathised with my anxiety. My veins were quite deep and in the end they had to get them out of my hand, butthey were very good at explaining everything step by step and answering any questions. I know feel that should I ever need another blood test for anything, I wouldn't feel anxious at all. The hospital itself seemed very friendly and clean. So thank you very much Chase Farm and to the phlebotomist in particular. From Jo, a blood test newbie! :)
