About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Cardiology (Heart Conditions) Wards 6c & 6d

(as a relative),

My mother stayed the weekend in Ward 6C after being admitted to the new hospital, all staff were incredible and made us feel very welcome when visiting.

My mother said that her food was lovely and very well prepared (thanks to the cook), her room was spotless and cleaned thoroughly (thanks to the cleaner) and she felt incredibly well looked after and always informed about what was going on (thanks to all staff involved in her care).

One small thing that could be improved are the window blinds.

Thank you for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion. I am pleased to read about how your mum felt about the care she received whilst in Ward 6C of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. I am also pleased to read that you were made to feel welcome when you were visiting, that is how we want all of our visitors to feel.

I will ensure your kind words are passed on to our Facilities team that are in charge of catering and cleaning as well as the staff in Ward 6C. I will also ensure that your feedback on the blinds is passed on to our Facilities team.
