"Fractured wrist"

About: Ilkeston Community Hospital

I arrived at 8am today and was very promptly treated, after being referred for an X-ray and back to MIU I must praise the staff on reception/X-ray department and MIU nurses who dealt with my 7 year old who had fractured her wrist.

They did not have the correct size wrist split but they put her in a sling and bandaged her up and will be retuning tomorrow for the split which they ordered. The nurses I wish to say a big thank you too as they put my daughter at ease which made the situation a breeze with her. Thank you and well done Ilkeston Hospital for 5* service

Thank you for your Kind comments regarding the service you and your daughter received when you visited our MIU recently, from all of the staff here.

I am pleased that you both had such a positive experience, and I hope when you returned as planned the correct splint was available for your daughter.

We wish her a speedy recovery for her injury
